Hexham-based marketing services company, r//evolution marketing, has appointed three new members of staff to strengthen its current team and to service its rapidly growing business.
 
Judy Walker from Hexham joins as public relations manager, with responsibility for developing strategic and tactical PR campaigns, handling media relations, newsletters and event management for clients. Judy holds the CAM Diploma in public relations and an MA in creative writing from Newcastle University. She has many years of experience in public relations gained both in-house and in consultancy roles in London and the north east.
 
Matt Moore from Newcastle joins as new media manager, with responsibility for on-line marketing for clients through their websites. Matt has a Masters degree in electronic engineering from Newcastle University and previously worked as a freelance consultant. In his new role, he will develop the new-media department at r//evolution, which embraces all aspects of on-line marketing from website development and performance to electronic direct mail.

Aaron McNeill from Gateshead joins as business development manager, with responsibility for developing r//evolution’s future growth and marketing its services to prospective clients. Aaron has a BSc in health and nutrition from Leeds University and gained his experience in business development with direct marketing company Vision Promotions, part of the Cobra Group. Before joining r//evolution he worked for Northumbrian Water.
 
“Our business has been growing steadily and we are expanding the breadth and depth of services we offer,” said r//evolution’s client services director, Gill Burgess. “Our aim is always to look at ways we can push the envelope to provide a better and more innovative service to our clients. With these three new members of staff, we are well placed to do that.”
 
r//evolution has been established for six years. Its clients include International Paint Ltd, Hadrian’s Wall Heritage Ltd, One NorthEast, Arriva North East, TyneMet College, Hertfordshire Sports Partnership and the Chief Culture and Leisure Officers Association. Client services director Gill Burgess was named Rural North East Woman Entrepreneur of the Year in 2007.
