International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM) commissioned r//evolution to conduct a full re-brand to mark their 40th anniversary.
After carrying out a stakeholder and member consultation exercise, our creative team put their heads together to develop a strong, modern identity that acknowledges the history of IIRSM but also conveys its ambition and scope.
The result is a theme based on a contemporary shield, using a spectrum of purples with a series of overlaid irregular shapes, providing a dramatic departure from the traditional IIRSM brand. The shield is off-set with cool grey typography, lending strength to the whole identity.
As part of the process, we ran a number of focus groups with IIRSM staff at different levels and committee members/stakeholders to ascertain how they saw themselves and how they wanted to see themselves in the future.
We led workshops and collated the information gathered into the final brief and subsequent ideas we submitted.
