The business focus is on growth and to facilitate this, there was a need to drive client acquisition through highly effective targeted communications. MetroMail approached r//evolution’s creative team to create impactful collateral for their sales team.
r//evolution’s creative team worked with MetroMail to scope out a solution that would allow the sales team to easily present and demonstrate the full suite of the business’s service offer. The solution was a bespoke Look Book – a hand finished, limited edition hard copy A3 publication. In order to readily illustrate the service offer, r//evolution created a fictitious holiday sector brand - Cruise Control.
The content gives an overview of MetroMail including their extensive range of formats and finishing techniques. It also includes each concept in a stylised chart, highlighting techniques used, weight of card, finishing techniques etc.
Using the fictitious holiday brand provided ample opportunity to demonstrate personalisation, cart abandonment, happy birthday, welcome home, drivetime and anniversary mailings.
The Look Book style is clean and bold – breaking down complex processes into a clear and simple style, for ease of presentation. The book was produced to A3 size with specially commissioned hard back covers with blind embossing onto the front. The pages were bound in by hand with silver rivets, allowing the option for additional pages to be added in when the MetroMail offer is further extended.
