Having created the organisation’s new brand identity, the ALARM Board invited r//evolution to design and build a new membership focused website. The old site lacked functionality and was cumbersome to maintain, with an outdated CMS.
Spec’ing the new, moblie-first site involved detailed discussions with the site users – particularly members of the Board and the admin team responsible for membership services. Based on these defined needs a detailed site map was created. Once approval for the site structure was gained, r//evolution’s digital design team created initial wireframes and designs to demonstrate each stage of the site’s functionality. Particular emphasis was placed on the needs of members – to ensure an intuitive user experience at every interaction.
With design and wireframes agreed, r//evolution’s development team undertook the site development over a four-month period. Site functionality includes:
Integrated website and member management system
Online membership application
Credit card payment integration
Multiple-user corporate membership management and billing
Member only access areas and downloads
Event ticket sales and booking integration
Integrated maps, image galleries and downloads
Newsletter sign ups
Job advert sales
r//evolution's content team created SEO-friendly copy for the website, reinforcing ALARM’s Key Messaging and ensuring direct engagement with their audiences.
The site was launched on time and in budget and feedback from members, Board members and admin staff was universally positive.
ALARM approached r//evolution to assist with replacing our existing website and redevelop our existing brand, the aim being to bring it up to date with a fresh and modern feel. From the initial telephone contact, through to the completion of the branding work, every member of the r//evolution team we have dealt with has been helpful, friendly and professional, offering advice and help throughout the journey.Finance DirectorALARM
